Silverwork from Apples and Arsenic

Thunderbird on Cornstalk

350.00

Great early piece of handmade Indian silver, formed and hammered by hand with rare Buffalo stamps all around and odd Thunderbirds atop cornstalks which are very charming. This has some small workshop tears to the silver around the edges which are original to the piece and common to these tourist pieces and were present when sold new. This piece dates 1930's or earlier and speaks to the Southwest tourist movement of the time.

Measures: 3" inches across
